Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, requesting an itinerary draft, confirming a booking or using any service of Hong Kong Global Travel E-Commerce Limited, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the Company.

If you act on behalf of a group, an employer or another traveller, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on that party behalf, and you are responsible for ensuring that everyone in the party is aware of them. Where these terms conflict with a separate signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails for the matter it covers.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version, and continued use of the services after a change takes effect means that you accept the revised terms.

Company Identity and Contact

Hong Kong Global Travel E-Commerce Limited is a travel e-commerce house operating from Rm B 16/F EUBANK PLZ, 9 CHIU LUNG ST, Hong Kong (HK). Our front desk delivers curated itineraries, ticketing and bookings, group travel coordination, visa and document help, travel support and partner hotel rates.

You can reach us by email at development@globaltravelecom.buzz or by telephone at +16675677921 during business hours. Written notices relating to a booking should be sent to the email address above with the booking reference included, so the desk can locate your record quickly.

When these terms refer to the Company, we or us, they mean Hong Kong Global Travel E-Commerce Limited. When they refer to you, they mean the person using the services or the party on whose behalf a booking is made.

Eligibility to Use the Services

You must be at least eighteen years old to confirm a booking in your own name and to enter into these terms. A person under eighteen may travel as part of a group or as the dependent of an adult traveller, but the booking must be made by a parent, guardian or authorised coordinator who accepts these terms on the traveller behalf.

By using the services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will update it promptly if it changes. We rely on the details you give us to issue documents and secure services, and inaccuracies can lead to a booking being rejected by a supplier or a border authority.

We may decline a request or end a relationship where we reasonably believe that the services are being used unlawfully, that information is fraudulent or that a traveller poses a risk to the safety of others or to the reputation of the Company.

Overview of Our Services

Our services are designed to work as one system delivered from a single front desk. A curated itinerary sets the shape of a journey, ticketing and bookings give it issued form, the group travel desk scales the same care to many travellers, visa and document help clears the border, the travel support line carries the care past departure and partner hotel rates close the journey with a suitable place to rest.

Each service is described in more detail in the sections that follow. The scope of any particular engagement is confirmed in writing when we send an itinerary draft or booking confirmation, and that confirmation forms part of these terms for the journey in question.

We are an intermediary and a service provider, not an airline, a hotel, a ferry operator or a government authority. Where a service is delivered by a supplier, the supplier own terms apply in addition to these terms, and we will tell you where those terms impose important conditions.

Curated Itineraries

A curated itinerary is a planning service. We gather your preferences, draft a route and revise it with you until it fits your dates, pace and budget. An itinerary draft is a proposal, not a confirmed booking, and nothing in a draft guarantees availability or price until a booking is issued.

We aim to deliver a draft within one working day of a completed enquiry, and we will tell you if a complex journey needs more time. You are responsible for reviewing a draft carefully before approving it, including spellings of names, travel dates and the sequence of connections.

Itinerary drafts are prepared for the travellers named in the enquiry. They may not be resold or presented as the work of another provider. The intellectual effort in a draft, including its structure and written commentary, remains the property of the Company.

Ticketing and Bookings

Ticketing and bookings are confirmed only when the required payment has cleared and we have issued a written confirmation with the relevant supplier references. Until then, a reservation may be held provisionally and may be released without notice.

We check passenger names against travel documents before issuing, but the final responsibility for correct names, dates and routing rests with you. A name that does not match a passport can result in denied boarding, and correction fees imposed by a supplier are your responsibility.

Fares and availability change constantly and are governed by the rules of the supplier. Some fares are non-refundable and non-transferable, and some carry change fees. We will explain the significant conditions before you commit, and the conditions in force at the time of issuance apply to your booking.

Group Travel Desk

The group travel desk coordinates journeys for multiple travellers under a single plan. A group coordinator is identified for each engagement, and that coordinator is our point of contact for instructions, changes and payments unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Group seats, rooms and vehicles are often held under separate supplier conditions with earlier deadlines and stricter cancellation rules than individual bookings. We will set out the key deadlines when we confirm a group arrangement, and the coordinator is responsible for passing them to the group.

Where the number of travellers falls below the level on which a group arrangement was priced, a supplier may revise the cost or cancel the arrangement. We will notify the coordinator as soon as we learn of such a change and work to find an alternative that keeps the journey on track.

Visa and Document Help

Visa and document help is an assistance service. We review entry requirements, assemble supporting papers and track an application where tracking is available, but the decision on any application belongs to the relevant border authority, and we cannot guarantee an outcome.

Immigration and entry rules change frequently and can depend on nationality, route, purpose of travel and the discretion of an officer at the port of entry. We base our advice on the information available at the time and on the details you provide, and we ask you to verify critical requirements with the relevant authority before departure.

Government and consular fees are set by the authority and are separate from our service charges. These fees are usually non-refundable once an application is lodged, even if the outcome is not what you hoped for, because they are paid to the authority rather than to us.

Travel Support Line

The travel support line is available while a journey arranged through our desk is active. We staff the line to help with the ordinary disruptions of travel, including delayed connections, schedule changes, lost documents and accommodation problems, and we rework affected segments where a supplier permits.

Support is delivered within the limits of the suppliers involved. Some changes require supplier approval, additional payment or a new ticket, and we will explain the options and the costs before we act. Where a supplier is closed or a border is closed, our team can advise and rebook but cannot create availability that does not exist.

We do not provide medical, legal or emergency security services. In a genuine emergency, contact the relevant local emergency services first, then inform the desk so we can assist with the travel arrangements that follow.

Partner Hotel Rates

Partner hotel rates are negotiated rates held with selected properties. We match a property to the purpose of a stay and compare the partner rate against the open market before recommending it. A partner rate is subject to availability and to the conditions set by the property.

Hotel policies on check-in, cancellation, deposits, extra beds and incidental charges are set by the property and apply to your stay. We will pass on the significant conditions when we confirm a booking, and the property may require a card or deposit at check-in for incidental costs.

Special requests such as early check-in, a quiet room or a particular view are passed to the property as requests. We confirm them where the property has agreed, but we cannot guarantee a request that the property has not confirmed in writing.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are quoted in the currency and at the time stated in your itinerary or booking confirmation. Supplier prices, taxes and fees can change between a draft and a confirmation, and we will tell you if the price of your journey changes before we proceed.

Payment may be made by the methods the desk accepts, and some bookings require a deposit with the balance due by a stated deadline. If a deadline is missed, a supplier may cancel the reservation and apply its own cancellation charges, which remain your responsibility.

Our service charges are separate from supplier costs such as fares, room rates, government fees and transaction fees. Where a bank or payment provider applies a currency conversion charge or an international transaction fee, that charge is set by the provider and is not collected by us.

Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

Cancellations and changes are governed by the rules of the suppliers involved, not by our preferences. Some tickets and room rates are fully non-refundable, while others permit a change for a fee. We will tell you the significant rules before you confirm, and we will apply them faithfully if your plans change.

Where a refund is due from a supplier, we will pursue it on your behalf and pass it on once the supplier releases the funds. Refunds can take time to process because they pass through several parties, and government fees are usually not refundable.

Our own service charges may be non-refundable where work has already been performed, such as an itinerary that has been drafted or a document application that has been lodged. We will state clearly which of our charges are refundable and which are not when we confirm your engagement.

Your Responsibilities as a Traveller

You are responsible for arriving at the correct departure point with the correct documents and with enough time to complete check-in and security. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for reading the confirmations we send before you travel.

You are responsible for complying with the rules of every supplier and every destination, including baggage limits, health requirements, conduct rules and local law. Failure to comply can result in denied boarding, removal from a service or refusal of entry, and the resulting costs are your responsibility.

You are responsible for your own belongings and for any travel insurance you choose to obtain. We strongly recommend suitable insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs, delays and lost baggage, because no booking service can remove the ordinary risks of travel.

Passports, Visas and Travel Documents

Every traveller must hold a valid passport or accepted travel document for the journey, and many destinations require a passport to remain valid for several months beyond the intended date of return. It is your responsibility to confirm the current requirements for your nationality and route.

Where a visa or entry permit is required, you must obtain it before travel unless the destination offers a visa on arrival. Our document desk can assist, but an application is granted or refused by the authority alone, and a refusal does not create a right to a refund of supplier costs already incurred.

You should carry copies of important documents separately from the originals and store a secure digital copy where possible. If a document is lost in transit, contact the desk and we will help you arrange replacement travel and notify the relevant authorities as far as the law allows.

Third Party Supplier Terms

Flights, rail, ferries, hotels, transfers and other services are provided by suppliers under their own terms and conditions. Those terms can include limits on liability, rules on baggage, conditions on changes and requirements for check-in that differ from ours.

When we book a service on your behalf, the supplier contract is between you and the supplier, even where we handle the payment and the paperwork. We will make the significant supplier conditions available to you, and we encourage you to read them, because they can affect your rights if something goes wrong.

Where a supplier fails to deliver a service, your first remedy is usually against that supplier under its own terms. We will assist you in pursuing the matter, but we cannot override a supplier contract or guarantee a supplier decision.

Acceptable Use of the Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes connected with planning and managing travel. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malicious code or use automated tools to scrape content in a way that burdens our service.

You must not use the website to submit false information, to impersonate another person, to send unsolicited commercial messages or to infringe the rights of others. We may block access where we reasonably believe that the website is being misused.

The website is provided for information and enquiry. Content on the website is not a substitute for the written confirmation of a booking, and where the two differ, the booking confirmation prevails.

Intellectual Property

The website, its text, its layout and its underlying code are owned by or licensed to Hong Kong Global Travel E-Commerce Limited and are protected by intellectual property law. The name and branding of the Company may not be used without written permission.

Itinerary drafts, written commentary and planning materials we create remain our property. You may use them for your own journey, and you may share them with the travellers named in the booking, but you may not resell them or present them as the work of another provider.

If you send us content such as a review or a suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use it in connection with our services, and you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe the rights of anyone else.

Limitation of Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and we aim to resolve problems quickly. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made.

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of suppliers, for delays caused by weather, for border or security decisions, for industrial action or for any other event beyond our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the service charges we received for the affected booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for matters that the applicable law requires us to accept. If you believe you have a claim, contact the desk promptly so the matter can be reviewed while the relevant records are still available.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate the Company for losses, costs or claims that arise from your breach of these terms, from information you provide that is inaccurate or misleading or from your failure to comply with the rules of a supplier or a destination.

This indemnity applies where the loss is a reasonable and foreseeable consequence of the breach. It does not apply to the extent that the loss results from our own negligence or from a matter that the law places within our responsibility.

Where a group coordinator provides information about other travellers, the coordinator agrees to compensate the Company for claims arising from a lack of authority to share that information, and to assist us in resolving any related complaint.

Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for a failure to perform that results from an event beyond our reasonable control. Such events include severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, airline groundings, airport closures, government action and failures of communication or power.

When such an event affects your journey, we will contact you as soon as we reasonably can, explain the options that suppliers are offering and help you choose the best available course. We cannot promise a particular outcome where the disruption affects the whole region or the whole industry.

Costs that a supplier imposes during a disruption, such as a rebooking fee or a new fare difference, remain subject to the supplier terms and to your own travel insurance. Our support line will advocate for you, but the final decision rests with the supplier.

Privacy and Data Handling

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy and understand how information is collected, used and shared.

Where you provide information about another traveller, you confirm that you have their permission and that they are aware of the Privacy Policy. We handle that information under the same protections as information provided directly by a traveller.

If you have a question about privacy that is not answered in the Privacy Policy, contact the desk and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or end access to the website or to a service where we reasonably believe that these terms have been breached, that information is fraudulent or that continuing the relationship would expose the Company, a supplier or another traveller to risk.

You may stop using the services at any time. Ending the relationship does not remove obligations that have already arisen, such as payment for work performed, supplier cancellation charges or the operation of the privacy and liability provisions of these terms.

Where we end a relationship for a serious reason, we will explain the decision in writing and, where it is practical and lawful, give you the opportunity to put the matter right first.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or from the services, unless a mandatory rule of your local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you raise the matter with the front desk so we have a fair opportunity to resolve it. We will review your concern in good faith, look at the records for your booking and respond with a clear explanation and, where appropriate, a remedy.

If a provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force, and the unenforceable provision is read down to the minimum extent needed to make it valid.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes in our services, in supplier conditions or in the law. When we make a material change, we will publish the updated version on this page and adjust the effective date.

Changes apply to bookings made after the change takes effect, unless the law requires otherwise. For an existing booking, the terms in force when the booking was confirmed generally continue to apply to that journey.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically, especially before starting a new journey or confirming a new booking, so you are aware of the conditions that apply.

How to Contact Us

If you have a question about these Terms of Service, wish to raise a concern about a booking or need to give us a formal notice, please contact the front desk. We take every enquiry seriously and aim to respond within the period that the applicable law allows.
